Cindy's Page
I met Cindy
on Kinkaid Lake in July of 2001 through mutual friends.
Since then we've had a whirlwind romance and tons of fun!
We've visited Washington state, Oregon, Florida, Jamaica, and plan several
more trips in the future. Travel and seeing the world is a big priority.
Cindy has bicycled through Vermont and across the entire country of Costa Rica.
She tries to walk at least four miles every day, swims, works out, bicycles, and
hikes.
Cindy's very intelligent, healthy, physically fit, energetic, and fun to be around.
She's always happy & giggling and has an amazing upbeat outlook on life.
Cindy is one of sixteen children in her family, a twin, with ten sisters.
She was her high school prom queen, and married her high school sweetheart.
She graduated from SIU - Carbondale and is a corporate CPA.
Her ex-husband decided to run off with his secretary.
His loss is definitely my gain!
Below are thumbnail pictures of a few of our adventures.

In July of 2002 we flew to
Washington state and rented a motor home for a week.
We drove down the coast to Oregon, then up the Colombia River Gorge
to the high desert, and back across the Northern Cascade Mountains.
I never would have believed how beautiful the Northwest is if I hadn't seen it
myself!

September of 2002 we went
to Panama City Beach with our friends Tim & Cassy.
We were lucky enough to have hotel reservations in Alabama the first night
since the Florida panhandle had to evacuate for a hurricane.
When we did get to the beach it was deserted and some of the best weather
ever!

March of 2003 we went to
Minnesota to visit Cindy's friend Julie.
Cindy met Julie while on "vacation", working as a trail hand on Isle Royale.
Northern Minnesota is a nice place to visit but I definitely would not want to
live there.

July of '05 we flew to New
York to visit Cindy's friends and co-workers Chris and Eddie.
In New York we did lots of sight seeing and went to Manhattan,
the Statue of Liberty, Broadway, a Yankees tailgate and game.
One day we drove out to the Hamptons and took in all the ritzy places and
snobbery.
We also rented a car and drove to Rhode Island to visit Shaun's sister's
family.
On the way there we toured the U.S. Submarine base at New London CT.
