Next stop England. Randy's first time at the ocean. "It looks like a lake to me!".

Hooters! The smoker had it's first visit in Macon Ga.
The first cooking brought the police and fire departments. Just the smell drew a crowd and the product was wonderful!
The first try. 28 chicken quarters on the top and 18 country style ribs on the bottom. All turned out GREAT! Lots of room left, not enough cash.

Another view of the first try. Check out that color! And juicy!!! You can't imagine!

On May 17, 2003 we helped cook 1000 sides of ribs for the local Boy Scouts fund raiser. We used our old grill and the Lang. The Lang ribs won!
As you can see, the old grill would burn your eyes when opened. Open the firebox on the Lang before opening the smoker, there's little smoke.
Pretty! We could cook 38 sides of ribs using both racks. Both turned out the same incredible product. None were burnt, unlike on the old grill.
38 sides of large baby back ribs at a time. We could have squeezed a few more in but why! This is taken with the firebox door closed.

May 24, 2003 we cooked 66 - 8 pound pork butts for a team fund raiser. 36 fit on the Lang and 30 fit on our old cooker. The Lang product was better!
WOW! 36 large pork butts, moist and juicy, top and bottom, end to end.
Another view of how well the Lang cooks. Notice the lack of smoke in the eyes? It's because we opened the firebox door first.

Blow this picture up and check the gauges. They're dead even! Amazing heat control end to end.

Too much beer, rum, smoke, rub, lack of sleep. Randy and Kevin late into the night of pork butts.
